The Mariners are underway with Spring Training! The team looks promising this year. Bavasi spent some big bucks this offseason, making this team the most expensive in franchise history. Jose Guillen in right field is one of the notable acquisitions of the winter. Ichiro has moved to center field and Raul is staying steady in left.

Jose Lopez and Yuniesky Betancourt just keep creeping closer to their prime; seemingly improving every inning. Who knows how long Richie and Adrian will man the corners, trade rumors involving the players surface on a weekly basis.
